Transitional Objects
My son’s transitional object has always been a bunny—his comfort blanket since babyhood.
It is the one object he would save if his house were on fire. This zine traces the ongoing relationship and emotional connection he has with this toy.
Transitional objects are deeply relatable; as children, many of us had something we latched onto for comfort and stability, a tangible presence that offered reassurance. These loved objects become invested with meaning and memory. Over time, their materiality changes as they are handled, worn, and even become marked by smell.
A wordless 4-page narrative zine with a full bleed close up image of the loved object.
